After Publish America offered me a contract for my book; I commission Donna Mayns, a Las Vegas Artist, who painted the beach scene for my book cover. She painted the scene from several photos in my collection and placed the Exxon Valdez on the horizon and signed the painting. The illustration was accepted by the publisher and I decided to produce numbered prints as a memento of the Prince William Sound Beach Scene.
